Lake Geneva Fall Fest

My friends Bridgette and Dawn came up for Fall Fest on Saturday.  We stopped to have some lunch at Egg Harbor Cafe.  We also enjoyed all of the sidewalk sales and yummy food.  We tried chocolate covered bacon, deep-fried Twinkies, and of course some apple cider.

 We got to warm up a bit during lunch.

This is my friend Bridgette and her daughter Madeline.  She is 9 months old and is an absolute doll.  We had such a great time as always!

It apparently tasted good too... Though I don't think Cory puts the phones at work in his mouth like this :)

Finley Rolls Over!

Here is the video I captured today when Finley rolled over for the first time.  Please ignore the shrieking idiot in the background.... It's amazing how excited you get for these little milestones....

Tummy Time!

 Finley had a bit of a slow start with the tummy time, but she is rocking it now!  She is SO close to rolling over too... that darn arm just keeps getting in the way.

 She loves to look around and try to reach for things when she is on her belly.

Falling in 'leaf' with the outdoors!

Cory and I got some yard work done today during Finley's morning nap.  Afterwards he thought it would be fun to put her in a pile of the leaves we had raked.  This is sure to be the first of many times that Finley gets to 'play' in a pile of leaves :)  Finley absolutely loves to be outside.  She is just like her momma!

 She was grabbing all of the leaves and trying to put them in her mouth... pretty much what she tries to do with EVERYTHING these days!

 She sank to the bottom of the pile :)

A Beautiful Fall Day at the Zoo

 This past weekend we went to Michigan for a family friend's wedding.  Before the wedding, Cory suggested that we visit their local zoo!  We had a wonderful time with Nonni.  The zoo was beautiful and you couldn't beat the admission price.... $5.00!

 We could only fit the umbrella stroller in the car on our trip... She sat in it quite well :)

SO glad daddy got to come with us this time :)  We had a great weekend with him!  It was wonderful to have him around for 4 whole days! 

Our First Fall Walk

The three of us enjoyed a nice, fall walk last week.  It was kind of chilly and the sky looked quite ominous while we were on it, but we made it home before a major storm/downpour.

We stopped at Kilwin's for a delicious turtle caramel apple and then pretty much ran home to beat the storm.  We are looking forward to many more fall walks during my maternity leave! :)
