Annual Pumpkin Farm Trip

 Cory and I have gone to Pearce's Farm Stand in Williams Bay every year for the past 4 years.  It was so much fun to take Finley for her first time.  This was right after her 4 month shots and it was REALLY windy, so getting her to look straight through the picture hole proved quite challenging :)

 Like I said, windy and bright for her little eyes.

We had so much fun.  Next year she will probably be walking all around the pumpkin farm on her own!

Finley helps mommy in the kitchen

 Now that Finley can sit in her high chair, I bring her in the kitchen with me when I'm cooking dinner.  She loves to watch  me and play with her toys. 

Such a big girl!  Her 4-month check-up is tomorrow.  We are hoping she can start some cereal and other solid foods soon so we can really break-in this high chair :)

4 Months Old!

Finley is four months old!!!  She is the delight of our lives.  She is growing so quickly and we swear she changes every day.  We thought she was 'talking' a lot last month... that was NOTHING compared to this month!  She talks like crazy and is also now screaming!  She also 'sings' when she wakes up in the morning and we hear it through the monitor. It really cracks us up!  She is rocking tummy time and has rolled over a ton this month too.  She did have/still has her first cold, but has never had a high fever from it and has been only somewhat irritable on some days.  She smiles at me when I suck stuff out of her nose....it must tickle.  She is wearing 6 month clothing and her hair gets longer and longer as the time passes.  We have been getting her used to her high chair and she enjoys sitting in there and being eye-level with us.  Her hand-eye coordination is getting a lot better.  She has figured out how to grab all of the hanging things on her floor gym and of course loves to put everything she grabs in her mouth.  Finally, DROOL-DROOL-DROOL!  She is a drool monster :)  I have SO enjoyed my maternity leave and feel blessed beyond words that I have gotten to spend so much time with her in her early life.  I hope the next 3.5 weeks before I go back to school go very SLLOOOOWWWWW... But, let's be honest, they will likely fly by like the first 3 weeks.  We love you little nut!
Update: Finley weighs 15 lb. 10 oz. (90th%) is 25.5 in long (90th%) and her head is in the 95th%.

Umpa Time!

Finley's Umpa came down this weekend to help fix Cory's old car so we can finally sell it.  We were excited that they got to spend some time together.

Lake Geneva Fall Fest

My friends Bridgette and Dawn came up for Fall Fest on Saturday.  We stopped to have some lunch at Egg Harbor Cafe.  We also enjoyed all of the sidewalk sales and yummy food.  We tried chocolate covered bacon, deep-fried Twinkies, and of course some apple cider.

 We got to warm up a bit during lunch.

This is my friend Bridgette and her daughter Madeline.  She is 9 months old and is an absolute doll.  We had such a great time as always!

It apparently tasted good too... Though I don't think Cory puts the phones at work in his mouth like this :)

Finley Rolls Over!
