A visit with Swobodas

This is our friends Chris and Amy Swoboda.  They both lived on the same floor as Cory at UW-Madison.  They have been friends every since!  Chris was in our wedding and Amy was our videographer. :)  This is the first time they have been able to meet Finley.  The last time we saw them was one week before Finley was born!  They moved to Cincinnati about 18 months ago.  Chris is a professor at The University of Cincinnati.  They got Finley an adorable Cincinnati onesie for Christmas.  They were in town to celebrate Christmas with Amy's family and they stopped by for a few hours on Christmas eve.  It was SO great to see them!  We hope it isn't another 6 months before we can see them again!

Finley's Many Talents

 She is now rolling everywhere... Including on her changing table.  Our lives are forever changed :)

 She blows 'raspberries' constantly!

 She is always sticking out her tongue.

 She responds when you call her name.

She loves to chew on her toes.

6 Months Old!

 Time flies when you're having fun!  Finley's first 6 months were the best months of our lives.  She is an absolute joy to be around.  She is by far the best thing to ever happen to us!!!

At her 6 month appointment yesterday, she weighed 18 lbs (80th%) and is 27.5 in (95th%) long.  The doctor was happy with all of the things she is able to do developmentally.  

Finley is now rolling all over the house.  She can just about sit on her own.  I know in a few short months she will likely begin to crawl and that is a terrifying thought! LOL

 She has discovered the blocks!  These pictures will likely continue to get more and more difficult to take the older she gets.  Will probably be a two person job!

 Just like every baby on the planet, EVERYTHING has to go in her mouth!

HA!  This one cracks me up!  It looks like she is 'posing'  :)

Buddies

 Buffett is FINALLY starting to learn that Finley doesn't need to be licked EVERY time he is around her.  Now that she can roll to be by him, they are quickly becoming buddies :)
