Baby Cooper is showered with love.... AGAIN!

My cousin Kati had this beautiful cake made to look like the nursery!  It turned out SO beautiful!
This is the quote we plan to put somewhere in the room... Haven't done it yet, but will get to it soon!
We got to take the round part of the cake home.  It is in the freezer and we plan to bring it to the hospital to celebrate the arrival of Baby Cooper... Along with the bottle of champagne we couldn't enjoy on our anniversary!
All of my wonderful friends and family.
Is there anything cuter than a newborn sleeper?!
This is one of my favorite gifts... My cousin Lauren painted a picture of an island that Cory and I saw on our honeymoon (she had asked for landscape photos - though I had no clue why at the time).  She then etched the glass with some of my favorite Jimmy Buffett quotes that related to life, children, parenthood, etc.  It matches the nursery PERFECT and it was truly one of the most touching gifts I have ever received!

3/4 of Team America and my mom
This is Cory's family! L to R: Kelly (Cory's mom), me, my sister-in-law, Becci - (she is also pregnant and due 3 weeks after me), Aunt Kendyle, and my other sister-in-law, Emily.
I'm SO thrilled my Grandma was able to join me at my shower.  Love her SO much!
Emily is a great friend and has TONS of knowledge about parenthood.... She has 6 lovely children!  I have had the absolute privilege of teaching 4 of them!  2 to go :)
I basically look like a house in this picture... LOL!  This is my friend Tammy.  I had her daughter in class 4 years ago.  We also direct the middle school musical together each year.  Cory and I love spending time with her and her wonderful family!
This is my Great Aunt Lois and my cousin Kati.  They threw me an absolutely BEAUTIFUL shower!  Cory and I are so grateful and blessed to have them in our lives!

Saturday, April 14, 2012: 32 Weeks

Yep! I'm definitely pregnant! LOL!!!!!
My back has just started to be sore again at the end of each work day, but.... I truly still can't complain!  I have had a pretty amazing pregnancy up to this point!
Cory and I were snuggling the other day and he could feel the baby kicking him in the back!  He was like 'WHOA, does it always feel that powerful'?  I said, 'YES! Why do you think it keeps me awake some nights.' :)  He also got to see the baby moving across my belly the other day.... He thought that looked very weird!
I have started to see my dr. every 2 weeks now. My appointments continue to go well.  I am not really planning on having a birth plan when it comes to my delivery.... I just kind of want to 'go with the flow' and see how it all turns out!
It is amazing what a calming effect my husband has on me!  He has 'chilled' me out SO much during the time I have been with him.  The 'old me' would be panicking and planning everything to millionth degree. :)
I continue to be able to confide with and ask advice from my amazing friends.... Not sure what I would do without their kindness, wealth of knowledge, and common sense solutions to this whole 'mommy' thing that is all new to me.
Cory and I continue to be extremely excited for June.... Just can't wait to meet our little bundle!

The Newest Member of Team America

Introducing Madelyn Rose Mitchell!  She is the daughter of Team America member, Bridgette Mitchell.  She is 11 weeks old and is an absolute angel!

Team America sure has grown throughout the years.  We started 6 years ago in Australia with 4 original teaching members: Jodie, Dawn, Bridgette, and myself.  We have remained friends all of this time despite the distance we live apart.  We have been there for the sad and happy times together and these are friends I plan to have for a lifetime.  Team America now has 6 members (Sydney is Jodie's daughter and she is about to be 2).

While we got together we learned that Jodie is expecting her 2nd!  Which means that once Baby Cooper and Baby Schmitt arrive, Team America will have doubled since it started.... Will we keep the 'girl' theme going?!  Only time will tell :)

Cory's 31st birthday

Cory's birthday tradition is fondue!  We 'cheat' a little though and use an actual electric deep fryer.  It is much quicker and requires a lot less waiting to eat!  The spread includes breaded mushrooms, cheese curds, onions, green peppers, potato chunks, breaded green beans, and...
 chicken breast and filet mignon.
The fondue skewers are ready to go!
This is my family's tradition on special days... It was Cory's turn today!

My poor husband had bronchitis on his birthday :(  This is about the only pic I could feasibly get from him!
Cookin' time!
